-America is too strong for liberty, everything must fall down, but even then people would do some budget cuts and create “smaller socialism”.

-America is too strong for liberty, everything must fall down, but even then people would do some budget cuts and create “smaller socialism”. Common people can’t understand abstraction like running country, they only follow their simple narrow interests. For example marihuana maybe would be legall, but not because of respect for individual freedom, but because it is popular. That’s why toxic drugs like alcohol are legal, and non-addictive LSD isn’t. People wouldn’t suddenly understand that socialism creates economical problems. The majority is always a little stupid and it will never change-for example many people stop believing in God (still not majority, but the number of atheists is bigger than in the past), but they still believe in such nonsense like morality, truth, human rights etc, which have the same nature. They stopped believe in God not because they were convinced by wiser people, but because environment has change.

-So you’re saying atheists have to be immoral? Morality comes from knowing that your actions can potentially affect other people. Some people have their own personal moral code.

-I’m not new-Max Stirner noticed that nature of morality (and even every conception and word) is similar to faith-why something is bad? Why shouldn’t you kill or hurt sb? Because of what sth it bad? Because you said so, because you believe in this. Even ancient sophists seen that. And what Nietzsche said-when God falls, morality also falls (sorry for supporting myself with authority-it doesn’t prove my argument is more valid when sb well known share it, i just want to prevent comments that I’m reproductif). God is god because you believe he is a God without justification, without more questions. And the same situation is with morality and with anything you believe is true (that’s why I’m agnostic, not an atheist-I don’t believ God doesn’t exist). You may find my point of view as meaningless game with words, what I’m trying to convince you is that we create the meaning of words, and we don’t discover nothing more-everything can be consider as truth, you can’t be sure of nothing-you can’t know what’s good or bad, true or false. For utilitarian spoon is good to eat soup, but you can’t tell sth is absolutely good because you can’t find unqestionable universal goal of humanity. The pleasure for human and fly is similar-realising what’s gives you pleasure can’t be simply consider good. So all that are the last conclusions of “unarmed” reason-after that we have modern science, where common conceptual sense is nothing more but prejudice of apes (for example you can’t see Xrays, science says they exist-so the same mistake can be with our concept of truth-it’s a fallacy of our limited thinking mechanisms).
OK, I got carried away with this philosopical stuff, maybe some kind of Socratic method would be better: You said: “Morality comes from knowing that your actions can potentially affect other people.” So what-you can hurt others and I can said it is good, prove me I’m wrong. “Some people have their own personal moral code.” And they are all deep in mistakes-they creates rules they can’t prove their rightness.

-This is why it’s so fantastic that the idealogy championed by Ron Paul is gaining momentum in this country. I’ve never seen so many different people with so many different views coming together for a common goal, Freedom. The governance of a man starts within his own heart. If we fail ourselves then this great experiment called liberty is coming to an end my friends.

-Ron Paul would never win, maybe time of crisis is a good time for many to see that socialism isn’t working, but I think it’s like a short time of liberty in Russia-then comes soviets:( And what’s really ridiculous, this crisis for many is a proof that capitalism isn’t working. So do you still have hope that people will let other people do what they want? No, they will still fight to get controll over state machine that makes others do what rulers want (even if the ruler is majority it’s still an extortion-a tyranny)

-Ron paul will win! Ron paul has already won. His message is spreading like a wild fire that alone is a win. Never again will we vote for the lesser of two evils. We will only vote for liberty. Ron paul 2012!

-Real liberalism was never popular between mob, and that’s why true liberalism fell after vote right was widen. I wonder why children and insane don’t have right to vote, probably at some simple level even mob can see that democracy should be restricted.

  1. i jeszcze memorable post about me
when I was a teenager I asked myself about God, and answered “you’ve got to be kidding with all this faith”, then I asked myself about state and economy and answered “you’ve got to be kidding with all this socialism”, then when I was little older I smoke pot, and said “you’ve got to be kidding with War on drugs”, and I also asked myself about morality and truth, and I also found this common conceptions are false, now I’m agnostic, believe in nothing, disregard majority of society, and trying to have a normal life after all this cognitive shocks, it’s rather depressing:/
